He is deaf and speaks Indian Sign Language natively. He is a qualified and experienced English and Indian Sign Language teacher. He was previously a teacher of the Indian Sign Language cell at AYJNIHH and is fluent in Indian Sign Language, which aids him in teaching English to the Deaf.
Ali has also attended District Deaf workshops throughout Kerala and India. He has also given lectures to all Kerala youth who are deaf.
